I bought the book brand new. I received this book with dirty black streaks on the cover and back of the book. The lower right corner of the cover and pages were also creased. This is what “new” looks like? Overall the content of the book was helpful and spoke in easy to understand text. The quality I received it in is another matter.

This is a great book on premies and what to expect! As are any books by the Sears’ family. I’ve found it quite helpful!

I bought this book on the spur of the moment after having delivered a preemie. While it helped me feel like I was participating in my baby’s care by reading it, it offered little of the indepth knowlege that I needed. It is easy to reqad and provides a good general overview.

I could not have survived the NICU sanely without this book. Dr Sears gives outstanding information on everything that goes on with premature babies, inside and out. It was a lifesaver.

This book was by far the best premature information book. My daughter was born at 27 weeks and this book explained everything from the heart surgery to the best way to build a good relationship with the nurses. The information is layed out in a way that makes it easy to read here and there. Everything is described in simple comprehendable terms. An absolutely must have if you are going through the nicu experience!!
